• Link juice is a non-technical SEO term used to reference the SEO value of a hyperlink to a particular website or webpage. According to Google, a multitude of quality hyperlinks (or just “links”) are one of the most important factors for gaining top rankings in the Google search engine

Link juice or Google Juice is a colloquial SEO term describing the distribution of backlinks within a webpage and the strength or reputation of these links.

To help better explain the SEO side of this we created an internal link juice tool to show very clearly how much PageRank link juice flows through each link on the site, and then compare that to how much link juice would flow if the number of links were reduced to 100 links. Sometimes this requires a bit of creative thinking.

What does Link Juice mean? "Link Juice" is a slang term referring to how powerful a certain link (within a site or from one website to another) is or could be. The idea is that a link from a well known website (e.g. SEO Hull)  that is trusted by the search engines will pass more "juice" than one on a pointless directory.

One of the biggest, missed opportunities I see by an SEO expert is wasted link juice. SEOs and link builders alike are in relentless pursuit of high value links and the equity and semantic relevance that those coveted links carry. However, the irony is they often overlook vast, untapped reservoirs of concentrated links.

Link Juice is an important SEO factor for ranking your website within Google search results. I have seen many bloggers overlooking the power of this factor which results in wasted link juice.

Link juice ou jus de référencement est un terme utilisé par les professionnels du référencement pour évoquer les effets bénéfiques sur le référencement naturel que peut transmettre un site à un autre site ou plutôt une page à une autre page par le biais d'un lien sortant ou backlink

How to easily identify and recover wasted link juice to improve your website's usability and SEO results.

Link juice is a primary resources  in the search engine optimization world — and it doesn't come easy. It's a strategy game that gets more out of less and rewards marketers who prioritize value. For the uninitiated, link juice is marketing jargon that is used to explain the power (i.e., relevance) that external links give.

  • Link building (alternative spellings include linkbuilding and link-building) refers to the process of getting external pages to link to a page on your website. It is one of the many tactics used in search engine optimization (SEO).

Backlinks are links on one website that, when clicked, take the user to another site. For example: this is a link, click here, Example, example.com, http://www.example.com. Backlinks can be in the form of an image as well as text.

Backlinks or Inbound Links (IBL's) are links that are directed towards your website and are the building blocks to good Search Engine Optimization. The number of backlinks a website has is in a good indicator of its popularity or importance with search engines.

As a link building tactic, broken link building is an effective, white-hat, scalable, content-focused link building strategy that builds links through finding broken links, recreating that broken content, and helping webmasters replace broken links with your corrected link.

The web pages we bookmarked at social bookmarking sites is considered as a quality backlink in the eyes of search engines. And we all know that the quality backlinks helps us to increase blog traffic and Google Page Rank.

Nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct search engines bots that a hyperlink should not influence the link target's ranking in the search engine's index. The nofollow directive is an often used value in a meta tag that can be added to the HTML source code of a webpage to suggest to search engines (most notably Google) not to pass link equity through any links on a given webpage.

A bad backlink comes from unrelated and untrusted sources. Sites that have been penalized and those that are violating Google's Webmaster Guidelines can have a negative impact on your SEO. To avoid having bad backlinks, you have to perform a quick website audit to all the sites you plan to build links on.

To disavow links, go to “Configure my site” and then select “Disavow Links.” Within the Disavow Links tool, use the dropdown menu to indicate that you are disavowing a page, directory, or domain URL. Enter the URL you want to disavow and click “Disavow".

Dofollow backlinks allow Google, or whatever search engine is being used, to follow them and reach your website. Basically, these are links that will pass on the SEO benefits of the website where it is built from to the hyperlinked website. ... This will improve its ranking position significantly in search engines.
